At 19:30 on 6th June, commencement ceremony for the graduates of 2022 of Jinzhou Medical University (JZMU) was held . Professor Wen Deliang, Secretary of the Party Committee of JZMU, Professor Ding Weiguang, Professor Zhang Lijuan, vice-president of JZMU presided over the ceremony.
The theme MV “In Memory of the Best Time of Youth” was played at the beginning. The graduates were deeply touched by each scene of campus life showed in the MV in which they reaclled their brilliant years spent in JZMU.
Accompanied by the National Anthem, the commencement ceremony started. Vice-president Qu Wei announced that 1,717 undergraduates, 757 postgraduates and 111 international students from 25 countries have successfully completed their studies and graduated.
President Ding Weiguang, Chairman of the University Academic Degree Assessment Committee, awarded degrees to the valedictorians of the graduates of 2022 and turned the tassels.
The representatives of the graduates shared their growth and progress, thoughts and gains during their stay in JZMU. On behalf of all the graduates they solemnly promised to their Alma mater that they would never change their original intention and always live up to their mission for contributing to the medical and health cause of mankind! The postgraduate supervisor Zhang Hailong represented the faculty to deliver a parting speech to the graduates. He entrusted the students with a great mission and encouraged them to achieve a wonderful life with hard-working.
At last, President Ding Weiguang made the commencement speech to congratulate the students on their successful completion of study and the opening of a new chapter in their lives. At the parting moment, he shared with the students his remarkable insights into commitment, loyalty, self-improvement, creation and gains. In the twilight, President Ding Weiguang affectionately wished every graduate of 2022: “Lead a meaningful life with great passion, look forward to a better future in this great era; embark on a new journey of life with confidence and enthusiasm gained from JZMU!”.
